Kurzbeschreibung der Gedanken:
The song ‘Destitution’ takes up on the events of the war depicted in our WW III four-part story of our previous release ‘Beheaded Society’ and describes the cycle of the war. Firstly, we evolve, poverty and destitution arises, a resolution is made that ultimately leads to a devolution – so that the cycle closes and repeats.
lyrics
Destitution
Echoing in the eternal slumber’s void
Who is going to tear us from its reign?
What is it going to take to stop this everlasting pain?
One decision, one bomb resulting in whole cities destroyed
Still hearing the shatter of the bombs
Sirens, screams nothing left but catacombs
Still hearing the shatter of the bombs
Sirens, screams nothing left but catacombs
The flash of her beautiful smile
left me back with denial
This was paradise
until we realized
it was all just a disguise
Waking up with tears and sweat covering my body
Still hearing the shatter of the bombs
Sirens, screams nothing left but catacombs
Opening the cracked window, seeing somebody
One of the few survivors broken by this meaningless war
Evolution, destitution, resolution, devolution
How long is it going to take us to restore?
Still hearing the shatter of the bombs
Sirens, screams nothing left but catacombs
Still hearing the shatter of the bombs
Sirens, screams nothing left but catacombs
To start anew we swore
until we fall once more

Jordan Vauvert
